About Pär
My name is Pär Axelsson. I was born in 1982, in the south eastern part of Sweden. Nowadays I live in Göteborg, the second biggest city in Sweden, where I recently was accepted to med school.
Some posts in this blog will be used as a kind of memo system for myself, where I write down step-by-step instructions on how to solve a specific computer problem or how to do a specific task. I run Ubuntu Linux on my primary computer, and Mac OS X on my laptop (a Powerbook). Most installation guides and configuration tips & tricks will be about Linux, OS X and open source software. I know my posts will help me when I run into the same kind of problem or task later on, and I hope someone else will find them useful too. I will try to write those posts in English. Most other posts, however, will be in Swedish, or maybe in both Swedish and English.
